The nightlife in Valencia is broken into lots of little areas in and around the city. At the centre is the Barri del Carme, which is packed full of trendy bars, restaurants and clubs. The new part of town is where you can find the University, nearby is the area around Plaça Honduras, this is full of student bars and clubs. During the summer months the best place to go are the bars around Malvarrosa beach, near the port. The atmosphere is lively and there's plenty of places to choose from. The best time to go to Valencia is between the 12th and 19th of March.
