Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and enjoys a great coastal location. It has huge selection of hotels on offer and can often be completely booked up during the summer months. If you do plan on visiting Valencia this summer, or around the 'Las Fallas' festival, it's recommended to book a few months in advance to avoid disappointment. If you do have to find a hotel at the last minute, the best time to search is around 11am, this is the time when guests are required to vacate their rooms.
A lot of people who own apartments in Valencia rent them out during the summer as short term holiday lets. They usually cost the same as a 2-3 star hotel and will come fully equipped with self catering services. |
